“Greyhound Soundness Examination” Video
The late Dr. James Gannon of Melbourne, Australia, was known as the father of modern-day greyhound veterinary medicine. One of the original authors of “Care of the Racing Greyhound,” Gannon was an internationally recognized veterinarian with special expertise in the area of physical therapy and rehabilitation for greyhounds. Several years ago, Dr. Gannon videotaped a presentation showing proper techniques for examining greyhounds for musculoskeletal soundness. That video has been described as a “must-see” for owners, trainers, adoption workers and veterinarians who routinely check greyhounds for any conditions that could cause pain or lameness.
